All About Us

Little Frenchies on the Prairie is a small MDBA registered breeder located on a Southern Darling Downs farm in Queensland. Along with our Frenchies, we have a cat, 6 horses, and beef cattle.

We strive to breed healthy, athletic pets with gentle, loving temperaments that are second to none. Our dogs are our pride and joy, thriving on the free-range pleasures of a farming lifestyle. Because we selectively plan matings, we do not have many litters a year which ensures our pups are the best quality possible by receiving adequate love and care in a clean and safe environment.

If you would like to own one of our pups, please send your expression of interest either via email or our website application form. Please tell us a bit about yourself as we carefully screen potential owners to make sure they understand exactly what is required when it comes to taking care of one of our beautiful pups.

Adoption

As a responsible Dog Breeder, we only allow our girls to have a small number of litters after which they are desexed and become available for adoption.

Our Girls

Platinumz Lola

Lola is where our breeding program started and is a foundation in our pedigree lines. She is a traditional brindle, but carries blue and cocoa. Lola is the most athletic of our dogs, outrunning the Jack Russells in a heart beat, and chasing the sprinker all summer day long.

Platinumz Winkie aka Paris

Paris is the best structured of all our dogs, she's small, compact and in proportion. And like Lola, she is one of our foundation females.

Daylorana Melrose Lavandula

Lavvy is our pride and joy. She is the first daughter of Lola and Arnold and is certainly a head turner being a lilac merle. She's small and compact at 11kg and prefers to 'observe' the happenings on the farm rather than exerting herself.

Lilmissmurphey Wind in the Willows

Willow is a little pocket rocket. At 10kg she's the smallest in our harem of females but she's the prettiest. She's cocoa and tan carry blue.

Lynton Queen of Spades

Apples is the newest addition to the Prairie tribe. She is black and tan carry blue and LHG. We're hopeful that she will produce us some fluffy frenchies when the time is right.

Daylorana Melrose Fairy Floss

Flossy Bums is one of our home bred girls out of Paris and by Arnold. She is a petite girl with lots of attitude.

Bully Magic Arnold

Arnold is trindle merle carry blue and cocoa and is the first stud male to strut the Prairie farm. He's agile and athletic but gentle and kind.

Health Priority Vader

Vader is a very special boy in our breeding program because he introduces single copy screw tail genes to our progeny. Yes! HE HAS A TAIL! It's functional and it's cute. Vader is a lilac fawn carry tan and cream.

aka Ringo Star

There’s no doubt that Ringo is the on the bigger size weighing 18kg!!! He's a gentle teddy bear, loves the water and chasing the sprinkler on hot Summer days. He's blue fawn carry cocoa, cream and the long hair gene.
